One of the best things about being a waste prevention project is sometimes we just end up with pallets of cake – which we are able to give out for FREE!
This week we were able to distribute two pallets of buns for free to the Andover community.
How?
We work with food distributors all over the UK to help provide a solution to their surplus and past best before stock, resulting in us sometimes receiving luxury items such as these. Being in the position to sell these at a massively reduced (and therefore accessible price) or give them away for free is mindblowing. People are entitled to have nice things, no matter their income.
